The Role – Electrical Supervisor
This Electrical Supervisor role offers the opportunity to take a leading position on major public lighting and infrastructure projects across Dublin City. The successful Electrical Supervisor will oversee crews, subcontractors, and day to day site operations across multiple live project sites throughout Dublin City. This is a site based role managing ongoing public lighting and infrastructure works in various locations across the city in coordination with local authority teams and project management staff.
You will play a key role in ensuring electrical works are completed safely, on programme, and in line with all quality and compliance requirements. This is a hands on supervisory position suited to an experienced Electrical Supervisor with strong infrastructure or utilities experience.

This is a site based role managing ongoing public lighting and infrastructure works in various locations across the city in coordination with local authority teams and project management staff.
You will play a key role in ensuring electrical works are completed safely, on programme, and in line with all quality and compliance requirements. This is a hands on supervisory position suited to an experienced Electrical Supervisor with strong infrastructure or utilities experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical crews delivering public lighting and infrastructure projects across Dublin City.
- Coordinate daily site activities across multiple live project locations while ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all electrical installations are completed to specification, programme deadlines, and industry safety standards.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and upgrade works on public lighting systems across active infrastructure projects.
- Manage subcontractors, labour allocation, and materials while maintaining strong communication across all site teams.
- Carry out toolbox talks, site inspections, and safety audits while ensuring full compliance with Safe Electric / RECI standards and relevant regulations.
- Liaise closely with client representatives, engineers, project managers, and operational teams throughout project delivery.
- Monitor quality control procedures and maintain high workmanship standards across all electrical and infrastructure works.
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues efficiently to maintain programme delivery and minimise disruption on site.
- Maintain accurate site records, daily reporting, and project documentation across multiple live works.
- You will be a trade qualified Electrician with strong Electrical Supervisor experience across infrastructure, utilities, public lighting, or civil engineering projects.
- Previous experience working on local authority or public sector contracts would be highly advantageous along with a strong understanding of electrical compliance, site safety, and quality standards.
- You will have excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders effectively across multiple active sites.
- The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and solutions focused with a strong commitment to programme delivery, safety, and maintaining high quality standards on site.
- A full clean driving licence along with Safe Pass and relevant site certifications is required.
