A major Irish housebuilder is delivering a landmark 200+ unit development of houses and apartments in South Dublin. They are now seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to join the team and help deliver a high-specification product to market.

  The Role – Finishing Foreman As Finishing Foreman, you will take ownership of all internal and external finishing elements, ensuring the highest standards of delivery across the final stages of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and uphold the quality and safety standards of all subcontractors and trades
  
  
• Work closely with the Engineering Team, reviewing drawings and construction details regularly
  
  
• Manage material and plant requirements to align with programme deadlines
  
  
• Perform spot checks and inspections, flagging discrepancies to the Site Manager
  
  
• Take decisive action to stop any unsafe or substandard work
  
  
• Sign off subcontractor work when completed to the required finish and specification
  
  
• Assist in compiling progress reports and documentation
  
  
• Mentor junior members of the site team by setting a clear and professional example
  
  
• Support the Assistant Site Manager and other foremen in managing site activities
  
  

  Your Background:

• 4+ years’ experience in a Finishing Foreman role on large-scale housing, apartment, or mixed-use developments
  
  
• Strong trade background or relevant construction qualification
  
  
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
  
  
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with the wider project team
  
  
• Sharp eye for quality and a proactive approach to snagging and handover phases
