The Role – Finishing Foreman: As Finishing Foreman, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery and high-quality finish of all internal and external packages on-site. You’ll collaborate closely with the wider site team and subcontractors to meet programme milestones and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure the quality and safety of works by subcontractors and trades
- Liaise daily with the Engineering and Site Management teams
- Review technical drawings and details to ensure accurate execution on site
- Plan ahead for plant and material requirements in line with the programme
- Conduct spot-checks and inspections of works, ensuring alignment with standards
- Flag and halt any works that are unsafe or substandard
- Sign off subcontractor works when they meet project requirements
- Assist in the preparation of site progress reports
- Provide direction to the Foremen team and act as a mentor to junior staff
What You Need:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Finishing Foreman or General Foreman role on large-scale construction projects
- Trade background or construction-related qualification
- Excellent knowledge of finishing standards across all trades
- Ability to lead by example, communicate clearly, and manage workflow efficiently
- A strong eye for detail, high-quality delivery, and site safety awareness
- Salary: €70,000+ (negotiable DOE)
- Package: Car allowance, bonus, pension, and private healthcare
