The scheme includes timber frame homes, duplexes, apartments, retail spaces, and a new school, setting new standards for sustainable and community-focused urban design.
 
The Role – General Foreperson
As General Foreperson, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, overseeing teams, trades, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and safe delivery of all works.
You’ll play a key leadership role, working closely with the Project Management and Engineering teams, and will be responsible for all lifting and logistics coordination on a fast-paced, multi-phase development.

The Role – General Foreperson
As General Foreperson, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, overseeing teams, trades, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and safe delivery of all works.
You’ll play a key leadership role, working closely with the Project Management and Engineering teams, and will be responsible for all lifting and logistics coordination on a fast-paced, multi-phase development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site activities on a large-scale mixed-use development.
 - Manage and plan lifting operations, site logistics, and plant movement to ensure efficiency and safety.
 - Review and interpret construction drawings, identifying and resolving issues early.
 - Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and direct labour to meet programme milestones.
 - Monitor and maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and quality.
 - Conduct daily coordination and whiteboard meetings to maintain progress and communication.
 - Lead by example on professionalism, teamwork, and site safety culture.
 - Support the handover process and work closely with finishing and quality teams.
 - Mentor junior site staff and contribute to the development of future site leaders.
 
About You
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a General Foreperson or similar supervisory role.
 - Proven record on large-scale residential or mixed-use projects.
 - Strong background in lifting operations and logistics management.
 - Experience in timber frame construction desirable.
 - Trade qualification or construction management education preferred.
 - Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
 - Strong focus on safety, quality, and on-site coordination.
