Your Role: General Foreperson – Residential Construction As General Foreperson, you'll oversee daily site operations, working closely with the Engineering Team to ensure everything runs smoothly and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and interpret construction drawings and details, identifying discrepancies early

  • Plan ahead to manage plant, equipment, and material needs in line with programme

  • Monitor quality of workmanship across trades and sign off on completed elements

  • Proactively address any unsafe practices or substandard work on-site

  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure programme deadlines are met

  • Mentor junior site staff and lead by example on quality, safety, and professionalism

  • Assist with reporting and participate in daily whiteboard coordination meetings

  • Support smooth handovers to the Finishing team and beyond

What You’ll Need:
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a General Foreperson or similar supervisory role

  • Proven experience on large-scale residential projects with timber frame and mixed-use elements

  • Trade background or construction qualification preferred

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Strong commitment to site safety, quality assurance, and team development
