A well established and growing civil engineering contractor is seeking a Junior Engineer to join their team on an upcoming road infrastructure project in Limerick.
With a strong reputation for delivering high quality infrastructure and public works projects across Ireland, this contractor continues to expand it’s portfolio across road, utilities and general civil engineering works.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Engineer with at least 1 year of experience to gain hands on exposure to a significant infrastructure project, working alongside an experienced and supportive project team.
The project is at an early stage, offering the opportunity to be involved from initial groundworks through to completion, gaining valuable experience across all phases of delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day to day management of site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
- Work closely with senior engineers and site management to coordinate subcontractors and site activities.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Setting out and using Total Station and GPS equipment and assisting with quality control and reporting on site activities.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience working as a Site Engineer in Ireland.
- Experience setting out using Total Station and GPS.
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn within a fast-paced site environment.
