With a strong pipeline of projects in Belgium and mainland Europe, they are looking for a Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of specialist electrical installations, working alongside experienced Project Managers and site teams.

The Role: Junior Project Manager
As Junior Project Manager, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of specialist electrical infrastructure packages on major construction projects in Belgium.
Working closely with the Project Manager, site supervisors, commercial team and main contractor, you will assist with programme delivery, procurement, subcontractor coordination and project reporting.
The role involves supporting lightning protection, earthing and surge protection installations from initial planning through construction, testing and handover.
This position would suit an Electrical Engineer, Project Engineer, Electrical Supervisor or Assistant Project Manager looking to develop their experience in project management.
Must Have Requirements
You will have a background in electrical engineering, construction management or site supervision and be looking to develop your career in project management.
You may currently be working as an Electrical Engineer, Project Engineer, Electrical Supervisor or Assistant Project Manager and want greater involvement in programme delivery, procurement and commercial management.
You should be organised, comfortable dealing with subcontractors and site teams, and keen to learn from experienced Project Managers while taking on increasing responsibility.
Previous data centre or industrial construction experience would be particularly beneficial, although specialist lightning protection or earthing experience is not essential.

- Previous experience in electrical engineering, construction management or project coordination
- Practical understanding of construction programmes, site operations and subcontractor coordination

- Strong organisational and communication skills, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fluent English and willingness to work on construction projects in Belgium
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer, Junior Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager or Electrical Supervisor
- Experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or major commercial construction projects
- Knowledge of lightning protection, earthing or surge protection systems
- Experience with procurement, project reporting, cost tracking or variation management
- French or Dutch language skills would be beneficial but are not essential
- Support the Project Manager with the planning and delivery of specialist electrical infrastructure packages
- Assist with the coordination of lightning protection, earthing and surge protection installations
- Monitor construction programmes, project milestones and site progress
- Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and installation teams
- Assist with procurement, material tracking and resource planning
- Review technical drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Attend site coordination meetings and provide progress updates
- Support project budget tracking, cost control and variation management
- Work with the site team to identify programme risks and resolve construction issues
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and health and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate project records, progress reports and installation documentation
- Assist with quality inspections, testing, snagging and final project handover
