Job title: M&E Coordinator – Hotel Extension Project
Location: Co Clare
Company: Established Irish Main Contractor
Package: €75,000 to €90,000 + package The Company
This well-established Irish main contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial, hospitality, healthcare, education and public sector projects across Ireland. With a consistent pipeline of work and long-standing relationships with repeat clients, they are known for delivering technically challenging projects to a high standard.
They are now commencing a €3 million extension project at a landmark hotel in Co Clare. The project involves the construction of new accommodation and associated facilities, requiring close coordination of all mechanical and electrical services throughout the build.
The Role: M&E Coordinator
Based on site in Co Clare, you will manage the coordination of all mechanical and electrical services on this hotel extension project, working closely with the Project Manager, design consultants, subcontractors and client representatives.
The successful M&E Coordinator will ensure services are delivered safely, in line with programme, and fully coordinated with the construction team from installation through to commissioning and handover.
Must Have Requirements
You have a solid background coordinating building services on Irish construction projects and understand how mechanical and electrical packages impact the overall programme. You are organised, technically strong and comfortable working with subcontractors, consultants and site teams to resolve issues before they affect delivery.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have previous experience as an M&E Coordinator, Building Services Engineer or similar role with an Irish main contractor.
- Proven experience coordinating mechanical and electrical subcontractors on construction projects.
- Strong understanding of building services installations, commissioning and technical drawings.
- Experience managing quality, programme and technical compliance throughout project delivery.
- Hospitality, commercial or healthcare project experience.
- Knowledge of BIM, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar platforms.
- Degree or trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
- Coordinate all mechanical and electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review drawings and identify clashes before installation.
- Manage M&E subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely and on programme.
- Attend coordination meetings with consultants, design teams and site management.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Oversee testing, commissioning and final handover documentation.
- Support the Project Manager with programme delivery and technical reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, progress and commissioning activities.
