Operating at scale, they have an established Building Services team and a structured environment where Mechanical and Electrical Coordinators are supported, developed and given real responsibility on major residential construction projects.
The Role Mechanical and Electrical Coordinator
As Mechanical and Electrical Coordinator, you will support the Building Services Manager in overseeing the design coordination, installation and commissioning of M&E systems across residential projects.
You will play a key role in ensuring that mechanical and electrical services are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard of quality. This position sits at the centre of site operations, design teams and specialist subcontractors, ensuring seamless integration of building services within complex residential schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €60,000 to €70,000 depending on experience plus package

The Role Mechanical and Electrical Coordinator
As Mechanical and Electrical Coordinator, you will support the Building Services Manager in overseeing the design coordination, installation and commissioning of M&E systems across residential projects.
You will play a key role in ensuring that mechanical and electrical services are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard of quality. This position sits at the centre of site operations, design teams and specialist subcontractors, ensuring seamless integration of building services within complex residential schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the quality of mechanical and electrical installations from initial coordination through to commissioning and handover
- Support site management teams with day to day M&E coordination and technical problem solving
- Coordinate M&E services with architectural and structural elements to avoid clashes and programme delays
- Oversee M&E subcontractors to ensure works are delivered in line with programme and specification
- Liaise with utility providers and local authorities to secure timely connections for electricity, gas, water, public lighting and telecommunications
- Manage temporary electrical and water systems on site
- Assist with value engineering and innovation initiatives to improve efficiency and performance of residential building services systems
- Track progress, attend coordination meetings and ensure documentation is aligned with company procedures
- Degree or further education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services
- Minimum 4 years experience in an M&E coordination or Building Services role within residential or large scale construction
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, utilities coordination and commissioning processes
- Experience managing M&E subcontractors on live construction sites
- Organised, self motivated and capable of working across multiple site interfaces
- Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with site teams, consultants and utility providers
- Trade background advantageous but not essential
- Focused on quality, safety and programme delivery
- Full driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites in the Greater Dublin Area
