Salary: €80,000 to €100,000 DOE

The Role | Project Planner As Project Planner, you will take ownership of project planning controls and reporting across multiple MEP and building services projects. This is a key role within the project delivery team where your ability to build robust programmes, track live progress and communicate clearly with stakeholders will directly influence successful delivery.
You will develop and manage baseline programmes, construction schedules, commissioning programmes and progress dashboards while supporting project teams with clear planning insight at every stage. This role will suit an experienced construction planner with strong mechanical and electrical building services knowledge and a proven track record using MS Project on complex commercial or high end residential developments.
Key Responsibilities • Develop master baseline programmes in MS Project in line with company procedures, client requirements and construction best practice
• Build detailed project schedules covering pre construction, procurement, installation, commissioning and close out
• Create integrated programme structures that support project delivery across multiple live projects
• Coordinate schedule information from subcontractors and suppliers and incorporate it into the overall project programme
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, site teams, consultants and clients to communicate programme priorities and milestones
• Track project progress and maintain accurate updates to support weekly and monthly reporting
• Produce KPI dashboards, progress reports and planning updates for internal and external stakeholders
• Support programme recovery planning where required to protect key milestones and handover dates
• Manage change within the programme and assess the impact of scope or sequencing changes on delivery
• Develop and monitor commissioning programmes and associated commissioning KPI reporting
• Prepare time impact assessments and support extension of time submissions where necessary
• Review and assess programme related submissions from subcontractors
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of planning standards across the business
About You • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related construction or engineering discipline
• Strong experience working as a Project Planner within mechanical and electrical building services contracting
• Proven background on commercial, high end residential or similar technically demanding construction projects
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Project with the ability to build, manage and update complex project programmes
• Strong understanding of MEP installation sequencing, procurement planning, commissioning and handover
• Able to produce clear reports, planning updates and programme analysis for senior stakeholders
• Confident communicator who can build relationships with project teams, subcontractors, clients and consultants
• Well organised, detail focused and able to work independently to strict deadlines
• Commercially aware with the ability to identify programme risk, opportunity and delay impacts
• Positive, solutions focused and capable of supporting high performing project delivery teams
