Mechanical Manager Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 10+ years’ experience in mechanical project management, ideally within building services or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record in managing multi-million-euro mechanical packages.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent commercial awareness and cost control ability.
- Experience in planning, scheduling, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and BIM coordination software.
- Full Irish/EU driving licence
As a Mechanical Manager:
- Lead and coordinate mechanical works across multiple sites.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical leadership on mechanical systems, piping (GB threaded, copper, welded), and HVAC installations.
- Liaise with design teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation.
- Conduct performance reviews, mentor site supervisors, and promote team development.
- Maintain strong focus on health, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Report directly to senior management with regular project updates and KPIs.
