Their Lisbon project is a flagship development, offering long-term work, excellent support on site and clear progression for experienced Mechanical Project Managers looking to step into senior project leadership roles within the data centre sector.
The Role Mechanical Project Manager
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take full ownership of mechanical delivery on a large-scale data centre project in Lisbon. This is a site-based role where you will lead mechanical packages from coordination through installation, commissioning and final handover.
You will play a key role in driving programme, quality and safety on site, working closely with MEP teams, subcontractors and senior project leadership to ensure all mechanical works are delivered to the highest standard in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.

Salary: €90,000 to €110,000 (DOE)

The Role Mechanical Project Manager
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take full ownership of mechanical delivery on a large-scale data centre project in Lisbon. This is a site-based role where you will lead mechanical packages from coordination through installation, commissioning and final handover.
You will play a key role in driving programme, quality and safety on site, working closely with MEP teams, subcontractors and senior project leadership to ensure all mechanical works are delivered to the highest standard in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all mechanical project delivery activities on a live data centre site
- Manage mechanical subcontractors, site engineers and supervisors
- Oversee HVAC, pipework, plant and mechanical system installations
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and sequencing requirements
- Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions
- Identify and resolve design issues, clashes and buildability challenges
- Manage procurement of mechanical packages and materials
- Maintain strict quality control and compliance with project specifications
- Drive health and safety standards across all mechanical works on site
- Coordinate closely with electrical, CSA and commissioning teams
- Support testing, commissioning and mechanical handover processes
- Report progress, risks and performance to senior project management
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on data centre or mission critical projects
- Strong background delivering mechanical or MEP packages on large construction projects
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC systems, pipework, plant and associated services
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and subcontractors
- Ability to manage programme, sequencing and site coordination effectively
- Confident reviewing technical drawings and identifying risks or gaps
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive teams on site
- Excellent communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Focused on quality, safety and delivering to tight deadlines
Salary: €90,000 to €110,000 (DOE)
