Mechanical Project Manager – Industrial & Commercial Projects

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of major mechanical packages across industrial, commercial, pharma and mission-critical projects in the Dublin region.

You will oversee the planning, coordination and execution of mechanical systems including HVAC, pipework, utilities and plantroom installations, ensuring high-quality, safe and on-programme delivery for a high-performing mechanical contractor with a strong pipeline of work.

This role offers long-term stability, strong progression opportunities and the chance to take ownership of complex, high-value projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Mechanical Project Manager Skills:

• Strong technical understanding of mechanical building services, HVAC systems, pipework, utilities and plant installations
• Proven track record delivering mechanical packages on commercial, pharma or industrial projects
• Ability to lead subcontractors and direct labour, manage multiple work fronts and drive productivity
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage costs, variations and forecasting
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Mechanical trade background or mechanical engineering qualification
• Experience coordinating design, procurement, QA/QC and commissioning activities
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and installation details

As a Mechanical Project Manager:

• Take full ownership of mechanical package delivery on large-scale projects in Dublin
• Lead planning, sequencing, materials procurement and subcontractor coordination
• Manage daily and weekly progress reporting, client meetings and programme updates
• Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals, resolving design issues and clashes
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, site procedures and statutory requirements
• Drive mechanical installation quality, maintain QA/QC documentation and support commissioning
• Work closely with commercial, design and senior management teams to ensure cost-effective delivery
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders
• Support handover, testing, commissioning and final documentation to project requirements

The Package:
Salary €75,000 – €90,000 DOE plus vehicle and package along with long-term progression with a reputable mechanical contractor.
