Piping Designer Skills:
- Proven experience as a Piping Designer with proficiency in Plant 3D and BIM Modelling.
- Strong understanding of pipework design and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with metals processing, including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminium.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to pipework design and fabrication.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the manufacturing, healthcare, and life sciences sectors.
- Knowledge of high purity stainless steel pipework.
- Familiarity with structural steel design and onsite mechanical installations.
- Develop detailed piping design and fabrication drawings using Plant 3D and BIM Modelling software.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and requirements.
- Prepare and review technical specifications and documentation for pipework systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform site visits as necessary to assess project requirements and progress.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the design team.
