Project Manager (HV/MV) Skills:
- Strong technical background in HV/MV electrical engineering and power systems
- In-depth knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and national electrical standards
- Proven experience managing substation, transmission, and distribution projects
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and forecasts
- Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar
- Highly organised with strong risk management and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to report to senior leadership and clients
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of HV/MV electrical infrastructure projects
- Develop project strategies, programmes, risk registers, and delivery plans
- Manage project budgets, resources, and contractual obligations to ensure strong financial performance
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, suppliers, and clients
- Provide technical input across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical regulations, safety standards, and client requirements
- Liaise with utilities, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks and technical challenges efficiently
- Track and report on project KPIs, milestones, and deliverables to senior management
- Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and technical excellence
