The Role – Project Manager
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing a €multi-million civil engineering project, from planning through to successful delivery.
Key Duties:
- Lead the project autonomously while collaborating with the Contracts Manager.
- Make key decisions on project issues with minimal supervision.
- Drive commercial awareness, cost control, and programme planning.
- Oversee design & build coordination and ensure milestones are met.
- Act as liaison with clients, protecting the company’s interests and resolving issues effectively.
- Direct, mentor, and support site teams in line with construction, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Continuously improve operations, streamline processes, and promote collaborative working.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in construction management with a Main Contractor at senior Project Manager/Senior Engineer level.
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering/Construction Management.
- Strong civils background with design & build coordination, planning, and costing experience.
- Excellent commercial and cost control skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project/Power Project, Excel, Word, and related software.
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and regulatory frameworks.
Package
- Salary circa €100,000+, negotiable depending on experience.
