The Company
This established Irish main contractor has a strong track record delivering Education, commercial and public sector construction projects across Dublin and the wider Leinster region.
With a solid pipeline of school construction work, the contractor is preparing to deliver new school buildings on existing school campuses in South Dublin, with a strong focus on programme delivery, site coordination, quality and working safely within live campus environments.
The Role: Project Manager
This Project Manager role will be based in South Dublin, Co Dublin, overseeing the delivery of a new building on an existing school campus.
The project is valued at approximately €15 million, You will take responsibility for the project from mobilisation through construction, fit out and handover, working closely with the Contracts Manager, site team, consultants and subcontractors.
You will have overall responsibility for programme, quality, health and safety and day-to-day project delivery, while ensuring works are carefully coordinated around the existing school campus.

About You
You will be an experienced Project Manager with a strong main contractor background and a track record of delivering building projects in Ireland.
You should be comfortable managing a full site team, driving subcontractors and keeping a project moving against programme. Previous school construction or similar live site experience would be particularly relevant.
A practical approach, good communication skills and strong attention to programme, safety and quality will be important for this position.

- Experience delivering building projects from construction through to handover is required
- Strong experience managing subcontractors, programme and site teams is essential
- Must have a strong understanding of Irish construction standards, health and safety and quality requirements
Preferred Experience:
- School construction experience preferred
- Experience working within an existing or live school campus environment beneficial
- Background delivering projects in the €10 million to €20 million range advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for the delivery of the €15 million school construction project
- Manage programme delivery from mobilisation through to completion and handover
- Coordinate Site Managers, Engineers, Foremen and subcontractors
- Manage construction activities around an existing operational school campus
- Maintain high standards of health and safety across the project
- Monitor quality, finishes and technical compliance
- Chair site meetings and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and client representatives
- Identify programme risks and ensure issues are addressed early
- Work closely with the commercial team on procurement, variations and project costs
- Maintain accurate project reporting for senior management
About You
