The Role:
You will play a key commercial role on a flagship road infrastructure project, managing complex civil and groundworks packages from procurement to final account. You'll collaborate with site and commercial teams to ensure financial performance aligns with project milestones, gaining exposure to technically diverse works and a fast-paced delivery environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the management of civils and groundworks contracts on-site.
- Preparing interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Overseeing cost tracking, budget control, and subcontractor accounts.
- Assisting procurement activities and ensuring best value from supply chains.
- Producing regular commercial reports and forecasts to inform senior management.
- Working closely with the operations team to meet commercial targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- 3–5 years of post-graduate experience in civil engineering or groundworks.
- Solid understanding of valuations, variations, and contract administration.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with construction software tools.
- Clear communication, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
- EU citizenship or valid work permit for Ireland.
