Job title: Safety Advisor – Residential & Education Projects
Location: Wexford, Co Wexford
Company: Irish Main Contractor delivering residential and education projects
Package: €60,000 to €70,000 + vehicle, fuel, pension and bonus
The Company
This Irish main contractor delivers projects across residential, education, healthcare and commercial construction, with a strong focus on quality, safe delivery and well-managed sites.
They are currently active across the South East and are looking for a Safety Advisor to support projects between Wexford and Wicklow.
The Role: Safety Advisor
You will work across a 60-unit residential housing development in Co Wexford, comprising 1, 2 and 3-bed homes, along with a large school extension project.
The role will involve regular site presence across Wexford and Wicklow, working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors to maintain strong Health & Safety standards.

About You
You will have a practical approach to Health & Safety and be comfortable working directly with site teams and subcontractors.
You should be organised, confident addressing safety issues on site and capable of managing your workload across projects in Wexford and Wicklow.

- Must have 3+ years’ Health & Safety experience within Irish construction
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification required
- Main contractor or building construction experience required
- Full driving licence required
Preferred Experience
- Residential construction experience preferred
- Education or school project experience beneficial
- Strong knowledge of Irish construction safety legislation
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site inspections and safety audits
- Review RAMS and site safety documentation
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Monitor subcontractor compliance
- Support site teams with Health & Safety procedures
- Assist with incident investigations and reporting
- Maintain accurate safety records across projects
