The Role: Senior Building Services Engineer
As Senior Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in the coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical services across large-scale residential developments in Dublin.
Working closely with site management, design consultants, M&E subcontractors and utility providers, you will oversee building services from design coordination and installation through to commissioning and final handover.
This is a hands-on, site-focused position where you will have a direct impact on programme delivery, quality and technical compliance, ensuring M&E packages are properly coordinated with architectural, structural and construction works.
Must Have Requirements
You will come from a mechanical, electrical or building services engineering background with strong practical construction experience.
You will be comfortable managing M&E coordination on site and dealing directly with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team.
Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to keep building services works progressing in line with programme will be important for this Senior Building Services Engineer role.

- Must have previous experience as a Building Services Engineer, M&E Engineer or similar within construction
- Proven experience required in the coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical services
- Strong understanding of M&E installation, commissioning and handover
- Experience coordinating M&E subcontractors, consultants and site teams is required
- Residential or mixed-use construction experience preferred
- Experience on large-scale apartment or housing developments beneficial
- Knowledge of energy-efficient building services and modern construction methods
- Experience coordinating utility connections would be advantageous
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical services across residential construction projects
- Manage M&E coordination between architectural, structural and design teams
- Monitor M&E subcontractor performance, quality and programme delivery
- Resolve technical building services issues with site and design teams
- Oversee commissioning, snagging and handover of M&E installations
- Coordinate utility services including power, water, gas and telecommunications
- Maintain accurate building services documentation and progress reporting
- Support value engineering and improvements in M&E delivery
