The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Site Manager looking to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor known for delivering high-quality, landmark projects across Dublin and the Leinster region?

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Ireland’s most respected and well-established construction companies offering stability, professional growth, and the chance to manage major commercial builds that will challenge and reward you in equal measure.


The Role As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of a large commercial development in Dublin. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will ensure that the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site activities from groundworks through to completion.
  
  
• Work collaboratively with the Project and Contracts Manager to drive progress and resolve issues proactively.
  
  
• Maintain full compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
  
  
• Monitor programme and budget performance, ensuring strong commercial control throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour to meet project targets.
  
  
• Act as the main liaison between the company and client representatives, fostering positive working relationships.
  
  
• Coach, support, and motivate site staff to deliver exceptional results.
  
  
• Ensure all works are delivered on schedule, within specification, and to Tier 1 standards.
  
  

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager or Project Manager role with a main contractor.
  
  
• Qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
  
  
• Proven technical knowledge and ability to manage complex commercial builds.
  
  
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  
  
• Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and project management software such as MS Project or Power Project.
  
  
• Comprehensive understanding of current construction standards and regulations.
