The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong track record in residential delivery? One of Ireland’s most respected main contractors is seeking a driven professional to take charge of a major housing development (100+ homes) in Sligo.
This is a flagship scheme with multiple phases and a secure pipeline, offering stability, progression, and the chance to lead a well-structured, high-performing site team.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for day-to-day site management from groundworks through to handover, ensuring quality, safety, and timelines are consistently achieved. Working closely with a strong commercial and technical team, you’ll manage resources, subcontractors, and logistics on a fast-moving, high-quality build.
Key Responsibilities:
About You You’ll be a proven Site Manager with experience leading multi-unit housing schemes, ideally with a main contractor. A background in timber frame or traditional builds will be highly valued.

The Role:
You’ll be responsible for day-to-day site management from groundworks through to handover, ensuring quality, safety, and timelines are consistently achieved. Working closely with a strong commercial and technical team, you’ll manage resources, subcontractors, and logistics on a fast-moving, high-quality build.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all site operations across direct labour and subcontractors
- Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard
- Enforce Health & Safety and environmental compliance at all times
- Liaise with the Contracts Manager on scheduling, resources, and progress
- Coordinate trades, materials, and site logistics across phases
- Conduct quality inspections and manage snagging through to handover
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and safety documentation
- Build strong working relationships with clients, design teams, and local authorities
About You You’ll be a proven Site Manager with experience leading multi-unit housing schemes, ideally with a main contractor. A background in timber frame or traditional builds will be highly valued.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience managing residential projects
- Demonstrated success delivering multi-unit schemes to a high standard
- Strong organisational, planning, and leadership skills
- Excellent HSEQ knowledge and commitment
- Trade background or degree in Construction Management (advantageous but not essential)
- Proficiency in IT for reporting and scheduling (Excel, MS Project, etc.)
