Job title: Site Manager – Modular Construction
Location: Kildare Town, Co Kildare

Package: €80,000 to €85,000 + package
The Company
This well-established Irish contractor specialises in modular construction, delivering high-quality education, sports, healthcare and commercial buildings throughout Ireland. With a growing order book and repeat business from public and private sector clients, they have built a strong reputation for quality, programme delivery and professional project management.
Based on projects across Co Kildare and the surrounding region, they are continuing to expand and are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee the installation and completion of modular classroom and changing room projects.
The Role: Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of modular construction projects across Co Kildare. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will coordinate site activities from groundworks and module installation through to fit out and final handover.
This role requires a Site Manager with experience delivering building projects for a main contractor in Ireland, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard of finish.
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have 5+ years' experience as a Site Manager on Irish construction projects.
• Experience working with a main contractor in Ireland is required.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and deliver projects safely and on programme.
• Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and health and safety requirements.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience delivering modular construction projects would be advantageous.
• Education, public sector or sports facility project experience preferred.
• Strong IT skills with experience using construction management software beneficial.
Nice to Have:
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• SMSTS, Safe Pass and First Aid certification.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors on fast-track projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily site operations from mobilisation through to project completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour on site.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
• Monitor programme delivery and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Carry out quality inspections and ensure works meet specification.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and installation sequencing.
• Liaise with design teams, clients and local stakeholders throughout the project.
• Maintain accurate site records, inspections and progress reports.
• Drive high standards of workmanship and ensure projects are handed over on time.
About You
You are an experienced Site Manager with a strong background delivering construction projects for an Irish main contractor. You are confident managing subcontractors, maintaining programme and ensuring quality standards are achieved throughout the build.
You are organised, proactive and comfortable working on fast-paced modular projects where planning, communication and attention to detail are essential.
