The Role – Site Manager
This is a key site-based position overseeing the delivery of a residential housing development in Wexford. You will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard of finish.
You will work closely with the project team, subcontractors, and senior management to maintain programme momentum while upholding strict quality and safety standards throughout the build.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all on-site activities from groundworks through to completion
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
• Drive the project programme, coordinating trades and sequencing works effectively
• Supervise subcontractors and site personnel to maintain productivity and quality
• Monitor workmanship and ensure high-quality finishes across all units
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and daily diaries
• Liaise with clients, design teams, and senior management on progress and issues
• Ensure materials and resources are available to meet programme requirements
About You:
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential housing developments
• Strong background with main contractors or design and build companies
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors effectively
• Highly organised with a focus on quality, safety, and deadlines
• Good communication skills with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Relevant construction qualification and valid Safe Pass / SMSTS equivalent
