The Role – Site Manager
This is a key Site Manager role on a major hospital refurbishment project in Dublin. You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards within a live healthcare environment.
You will play a critical role in coordinating subcontractors, managing site teams, and maintaining strict control over health and safety, while minimising disruption to ongoing hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all on-site construction activities on a live healthcare refurbishment project
• Maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety, particularly within a live environment
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and direct labour on site
• Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and project milestones
• Monitor quality of works and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
• Liaise with project managers, design teams, and client representatives
• Oversee site documentation, reporting, and daily records
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to avoid delays or rework
About You
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment or healthcare projects
• Strong background working in live environments is highly desirable
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and site management
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive teams
• Highly organised with a focus on quality, safety, and programme delivery
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment
• Trade or construction-related qualification preferred
