The Role: Architectural Lead
This Architectural Lead role is based on a major data centre project near Helsinki, Finland, reporting directly to the CSA Lead and overseeing all Architectural and CSA Fitout delivery across the project.
You will manage Package Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and specialist fitout teams delivering high-spec internal architectural works including raised floors, ceilings, clean rooms, partitions, doors, internal finishes, and specialist fitout systems within a live mission critical environment.
The successful Architectural Lead will play a central role in programme delivery, subcontractor coordination, quality assurance, sequencing with MEP trades, and final handover. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong commercial awareness, technical understanding of CSA fitout packages, and experience delivering fast-track construction projects.

You are commercially aware, technically strong, and capable of driving teams to achieve demanding project milestones on major international construction projects.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 10 years’ experience within a main contractor environment
- Proven experience required delivering CSA or Architectural Fitout packages on large-scale construction projects
- Experience coordinating Architectural works alongside MEP and commissioning teams is required
- Strong understanding of programme management, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination within fast-track construction environments
- Proven leadership experience managing Package Managers, Engineers, and site delivery teams
Preferred Experience
- Data centre or mission critical project experience preferred
- Experience managing high-spec clean rooms or specialist fitout environments beneficial
- Strong commercial and cost control experience preferred
- Experience working on European construction projects advantageous
Nice to Have
- Degree qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience with modern project reporting platforms and scheduling software
- Additional health and safety qualifications beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all CSA Architectural Fitout packages across the project lifecycle
- Manage programme delivery, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination
- Oversee architectural finishes including ceilings, partitions, doors, raised floors, and specialist fitout systems
- Coordinate closely with MEP and commissioning teams to ensure smooth integration and handover
- Monitor project costs, budgets, variations, and procurement activities
- Chair subcontractor and client coordination meetings
- Manage quality assurance and ensure all finishes meet client and company standards
- Oversee scheduling, progress reporting, and milestone tracking
- Support procurement and management of long-lead fitout materials and specialist equipment
- Review payment applications, valuations, and subcontractor accounts
- Drive site safety, quality, and programme performance across all CSA activities
- Manage project closeout, snagging, handover documentation, and warranties
