As Assistant Site Manager:
- Site Coordination & Supervision – Assist in managing daily site activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring work follows schedules.
- Health & Safety Compliance – Enforce safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and ensure workers follow PPE and safety protocols.
- Quality Control & Inspections – Monitor workmanship, report defects, and ensure construction meets project specifications.
- Documentation & Reporting – Maintain site records, prepare reports, and track permits and compliance documents.
- Stakeholder Communication – Liaise with engineers, architects, contractors, and the Site Manager for smooth project execution.
- Material & Resource Management – Monitor stock levels, order materials, and ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution – Assist in resolving on-site problems, delays, or conflicts that may arise.
- Learning & Career Progression – Gain hands-on experience to progress toward a Site Manager role in the future.
Assistant Site Manager Skills:
- You have 3 years construction experience, preferably with a Main Contractor
- You have experience as a Site Manager / Foreman.
- You have worked on large projects, preferably industrial style builds.
- You have a Qualification in a construction related field or a strong Trades background
