BIM Coordinator – Data Centre Projects

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join the delivery team on large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects based in the Portugal

This is a site-based role, working closely with engineering, construction and commissioning teams to ensure coordinated BIM delivery across mechanical, electrical and other disciplines.

You will play a key role in managing clash resolution, coordinating complex MEP installations and ensuring all BIM outputs align with project execution plans and programme milestones. This role suits a technically strong BIM professional with a background in Revit MEP and experience working on complex construction projects.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience working in a BIM or digital engineering role on large construction projects
• Strong Revit experience with a clear MEP coordination bias
• AutoCAD experience preferred
• Navisworks experience for clash detection and coordination
• Proven experience delivering 2D and 3D coordination milestones in line with BIM Execution Plans
• Ability to manage and resolve clashes between mechanical, electrical, CSA and specialist packages
• Experience liaising with package managers, site engineers and subcontractors
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, BIM, Construction Technology or similar
• Excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior BIM team members is advantageous
• Full EU work authorisation required

As a BIM Coordinator:

• Manage and resolve BIM clashes and coordination issues across all disciplines
• Produce coordinated drawings, schedules and BIM outputs in line with project requirements
• Deliver all 2D and 3D coordination milestones for assigned projects
• Work closely with package managers and site engineers to coordinate complex MEP installations
• Support site teams by providing accurate, up-to-date BIM information
• Ensure BIM deliverables align with the agreed BIM Execution Plan
• Participate in coordination meetings and technical workshops
• Support and mentor junior BIM team members where required
• Maintain model integrity and version control throughout project delivery

The Package: Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of  at least €70,000 plus a full package, including accommodation support, allowances and rotation options where applicable.
