We have an exceptional opportunity for a Building Services Engineer to join a leading Tier one contractor for €180 millions residential project in Dublin.

This role involves managing the design, coordination, and installation of Mechanical and Electrical systems across high-density residential projects, ensuring quality and innovation at every stage.

As a Building Services Engineer:  
  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in a project management or similar role.
  • An interest in energy management and emerging technologies in residential construction.
  • Experience in a relevant trade background is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Proven ability to manage timelines and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while being an effective team player.
  • Willingness to travel between sites across the greater Dublin area.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • Irish Construction experience.

Building Services Engineer Skills:  
  • Oversee and monitor the quality of M&E system installations from design coordination to final commissioning and handover.
  • Collaborate with site construction teams to resolve onsite issues, ensuring M&E systems are installed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Act as a liaison between design teams, ensuring seamless integration of M&E systems with architectural and structural elements.
  • Manage and coordinate M&E subcontractors to meet project schedules and quality standards.
  • Engage with utility providers, local authorities, and design teams to secure timely delivery of essential services such as electricity, water, gas, telecommunications, and public lighting.
  • Plan and manage the modification or diversion of existing site services in collaboration with utility providers.
  • Contribute to innovation and value engineering processes, identifying and implementing cutting-edge M&E systems and products.
  • Oversee the management of temporary utility systems, including electricity and water, for active construction sites.

The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least to €65,000 plus package to include pension, bonus, CPD, life assurance & more.
