You are a proactive and experienced M&E Site Supervisor looking to oversee mechanical and electrical works on a high-quality residential development in Galway.
This role is key to ensuring that building services are delivered to the highest standards, meeting programme, safety, and quality requirements. You’ll work alongside an experienced site team and subcontractors on a multi-phase development, ensuring smooth delivery from installation to commissioning.

M&E Site Supervisor Skills:
- Trade background or Degree/Diploma in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising M&E works on residential or mixed-use developments.
- Strong understanding of Irish building regulations, BCAR process, and relevant health & safety legislation.
- Ability to interpret M&E drawings and technical documentation with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in digital tools such as BIM 360, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite desirable.
- Proven track record in delivering projects on time, to specification, and within quality standards.
As a M&E Site Supervisor:
- Supervise and coordinate all M&E subcontractor activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and health & safety standards.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, Design Teams, and Site Management to track programme milestones and ensure services installations are integrated effectively with the overall build.
- Monitor quality and ensure works are carried out in accordance with the latest drawings, specifications, and building regulations.
- Coordinate services installation with architectural and structural elements to avoid delays or rework.
- Attend weekly progress meetings, report on M&E activities, and maintain accurate site records.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems, ensuring snag-free delivery.
- Promote and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental policies across M&E disciplines.
- Identify and resolve any coordination or technical issues between services and construction activities.
- Track and manage M&E programme deliverables and flag risks to the construction schedule.
