You are an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail. Electrical Estimator Skills:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Electrical Estimator or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems and installation methods.
- Ideally qualified through an apprenticeship, HNC, or HND in electrical or building services.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365; experience with Trimble estimating software is desirable.
- Strong commercial awareness, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
As an Electrical Estimator:
- Review and analyse tender documentation including drawings, specifications, and schedules to prepare accurate bids.
- Prepare and submit competitive tenders within specified deadlines.
- Engage with the supply chain to source competitive and compliant quotations.
- Identify and propose value engineering opportunities.
- Attend mid-tender and post-tender meetings as required.
- Provide clear handovers to pre-construction and project delivery team
