Job title: Electrical Package Manager – Data Centre

The Company
This international contractor specialises in the delivery of large-scale data centre projects across the UK and Europe, covering design, construction, M&E installation and commissioning.
They are looking for an experienced Electrical Package Manager to take responsibility for electrical building services delivery on a major data centre project in Blyth.
The Role: Electrical Package Manager
As Electrical Package Manager, you will manage the electrical package through construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
You will coordinate electrical subcontractors, engineers, suppliers and vendors while maintaining control of programme, quality, safety and technical documentation.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Electrical Package Manager with a strong understanding of electrical construction and the ability to manage subcontractors in a live site environment.
You will be organised, technically strong and comfortable taking ownership of programme, quality and delivery on a major data centre project.

The Role: Electrical Package Manager
As Electrical Package Manager, you will manage the electrical package through construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
You will coordinate electrical subcontractors, engineers, suppliers and vendors while maintaining control of programme, quality, safety and technical documentation.
Must Have Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical construction or package management.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar.
- Strong knowledge of electrical building services installations including containment, cabling and power systems.
- Proven experience managing electrical subcontractors and packages on large construction projects.
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience preferred.
- Industrial or pharmaceutical project experience also considered.
- MS Project experience beneficial.
- Manage electrical installation activities across the assigned package.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and the wider project team.
- Manage four-week look-ahead programmes and drive works to agreed milestones.
- Review method statements, risk assessments, RFIs and technical submittals.
- Monitor installation quality and electrical inspection records.
- Support valuations, variations and commercial change management.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, O&M documentation and as-built information.
- Drive the electrical package through to successful handover.
