Known for its involvement in large scale data centre, pharmaceutical and power projects, the company has secured a strong pipeline of work in the Midwest region for the next five years.

The Role Electrical QC Inspector
As Electrical QC Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring all electrical installations meet the highest quality and safety standards on a major construction project in Limerick. You will work closely with site engineers, project managers and subcontractors to maintain compliance with specifications, drawings and industry standards.
This position carries real responsibility for quality assurance, testing and documentation across critical electrical systems. Your work will directly impact commissioning, client handover and overall project success.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out inspections of electrical installations throughout the construction phase to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and applicable standards
• Monitor quality of works on site including containment, cabling, terminations, panels and associated systems
• Perform and witness electrical testing including insulation resistance, continuity and functional testing
• Maintain detailed QA documentation including inspection test plans, check sheets and non conformance reports
• Identify and report defects or non conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed out
• Inspect incoming electrical materials and equipment to verify compliance with project requirements
• Liaise with site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors to resolve quality issues promptly
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with electrical safety standards and site procedures
• Support commissioning activities and handover documentation
About You
• Trade qualified electrician or degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum three years experience in a quality control or supervisory role on large scale construction projects
• Experience on data centre, pharmaceutical or other mission critical projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of electrical testing procedures and QA systems
• Confident using MS Office and digital QA platforms such as BIM 360 or similar
• Detail focused with a commitment to delivering work to the highest standard
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with site teams
• Proactive, organised and capable of working on your own initiative
