The Company
This Irish main contractor delivers major construction projects across a range of sectors, including life science, commercial, healthcare and large scale building developments.
They have a strong pipeline of work across Cork and the wider Munster region and are now looking for an experienced Finishing Foreman to join the site team on a multi million euro life science project in Cork.
The Role: Finishing Foreman
As Finishing Foreman, you will take responsibility for finishing works, snagging and quality control across key areas of this major life science project in Cork.
Working closely with the Site Manager and project team, you will coordinate finishing trades, drive works through snagging and ensure areas are completed to the required quality and programme for handover.

About You
You will be an experienced Finishing Foreman with a strong eye for detail and a practical understanding of finishing works on large construction projects.
You should be comfortable managing multiple finishing trades, identifying quality issues and pushing snagging through to completion. Strong subcontractor coordination and the ability to deliver high quality work against programme are essential.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have proven experience as a Finishing Foreman, Finishing Manager or Site Foreman on construction projects
- Strong experience required managing finishing trades, snagging and quality finishes
- Must be confident coordinating subcontractors and driving works to programme
- Previous main contractor experience in Ireland is required
Preferred Experience
- Life science, pharmaceutical or healthcare project experience preferred
- Experience delivering high specification internal finishes beneficial
- Experience working through commissioning, snagging and handover stages advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Manage finishing works and subcontractors across designated areas
- Coordinate snagging, de snagging and close out of outstanding works
- Maintain high standards of quality finishes throughout the project
- Inspect completed works against drawings, specifications and agreed standards
- Drive subcontractors to meet programme and handover dates
- Coordinate closely with the Site Manager, engineers and wider project team
- Maintain strong health and safety standards across finishing activities
- Monitor progress and identify issues that could affect programme delivery
- Ensure areas are fully completed and ready for client inspection and handover
About You
You will be an experienced Finishing Foreman with a strong eye for detail and a practical understanding of finishing works on large construction projects.
