The Role – Finishing Foreman As Finishing Foreman, you will oversee all finishing works across the development, ensuring first-class standards and timely handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality and safety standards of subcontractors and trades are consistently met.
- Review drawings and details in collaboration with the Engineering Team.
- Coordinate material and plant requirements in line with programme targets.
- Carry out inspections, highlighting and resolving snags or discrepancies.
- Take immediate action on unsafe or substandard works.
- Sign off completed subcontractor works to required specification.
- Contribute to progress reports and project documentation.
- Mentor junior site staff, setting a professional example.
- Support the Site Manager and fellow foremen with smooth site operations.
Your Background
- 4+ years’ Finishing Foreman experience on large-scale residential or apartment developments.
- Trade background or relevant construction qualification.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across the wider project team.
- Detail-focused with a proactive approach to snagging and handover.
