Mechanical Engineer Skills:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
- 1–3 years’ experience in mechanical engineering, ideally with exposure to life sciences or residential builds.
- A good grounding in HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Main contractor experience would be a plus.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to communicate well with clients, colleagues, and project partners.
- A proactive approach and a focus on delivering for the client.
As a Mechanical Engineer:
- Overseeing the design, installation, and performance of HVAC, plumbing, and other building services.
- Working closely with other disciplines to make sure everything is coordinated and meets the high standards required in life sciences.
- Keeping a close eye on quality, ensuring all works are completed to spec and in line with safety procedures.
