You are an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team working across water, wastewater, and pumping projects. The role involves contributing to the full project lifecycle, design, procurement, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning, while driving innovation in modular design and digital delivery based out of Cork.

Mechanical Engineer Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
- Proven track record in mechanical engineering within water, wastewater, utilities, or related industries.
- Proficiency in CAD design tools and hydraulic system principles.
- Knowledge of mechanical standards, CE/ISO compliance, and HSQE frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams.
- Experience in modular design or off-site manufacturing.
- Familiarity with BIM and digital delivery tools.
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full driving license
As a Mechanical Engineer:
- Develop and review mechanical designs for systems including pumps, filtration, pipelines, and treatment plant equipment.
- Produce detailed drawings and specifications using CAD and other design software.
- Ensure mechanical solutions are fully integrated with civil, electrical, and process elements.
- Support project teams from concept through to commissioning.
- Assist with procurement, vendor selection, and technical evaluation of equipment.
- Contribute to off-site manufacturing and modular assembly strategies to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Support BIM, 3D modelling, and digital workflows to improve project coordination and delivery.
- Recommend and implement value engineering solutions to improve reliability and lifecycle performance.
- Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.
- Participate in risk assessments and design reviews.
- Work closely with internal project teams, suppliers, and clients to deliver mechanical solutions on time and within budget.
- Provide technical input and guidance to junior engineers and project staff.
