MEP Lead Skills:
- Proven experience leading MEP teams on large-scale construction or data centre projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services
- Experience reviewing and optimising designs for cost efficiency, programme improvement, and quality enhancement
- Excellent project coordination, communication, and leadership skills
- Commercially astute with the ability to manage resources, costs, and schedules effectively
- Strong focus on health, safety, and quality standards
- Lead and motivate a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to deliver project objectives
- Coordinate with site engineers, contracts managers, and other discipline leads to ensure subcontractors and site teams have accurate, timely information
- Review drawings and specifications to identify issues, communicating any errors or omissions to the design team promptly
- Propose design improvements to enhance buildability, reduce costs, and improve project quality
- Monitor construction workmanship and material quality across the site
- Establish project resource requirements and oversee team performance
- Drive a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring all works are carried out safely and in compliance with regulations
