The Role: Project Manager
This is a key Project Manager position overseeing a €10 million education development in South Dublin.
The project involves the construction of a new multi-storey educational building, incorporating modern teaching facilities, specialist accommodation and associated site infrastructure works.
Working closely with the Contracts Manager, design team, commercial team and site management, you will take overall responsibility for programme delivery, subcontractor coordination, health and safety, quality and project performance. The development requires careful planning and site management, particularly around construction logistics, access arrangements and works within an operational education environment.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in main contracting and a proven track record delivering large-scale building projects in Ireland.
You understand the importance of programme management, commercial awareness and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients.
You will be confident managing site teams, resolving technical issues and driving construction progress while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Experience delivering education buildings, commercial developments or other technically demanding construction projects would be particularly relevant.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 7+ years' experience in construction management, including proven experience delivering projects as a Project Manager with an Irish main contractor.
- Proven experience managing multi-million euro new build construction projects from commencement through to handover.
- Strong knowledge of construction programmes, subcontractor management, health and safety and quality control.
- Experience coordinating design teams, commercial teams and site management on complex building projects is required.
- Previous experience delivering education, healthcare or commercial developments.
- Experience managing construction works within live or occupied environments.
- Familiarity with RC frame construction, specialist M&E packages and high-quality internal finishes.
- Experience using construction management software such as Procore, Dalux or similar platforms.
- Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the €10 million education development from construction through to completion.
- Manage project programmes, resources and key milestones to ensure works are delivered on schedule.
- Lead and coordinate Site Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors and specialist trades.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety across all site operations.
- Oversee quality control, inspections and compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate design information, technical queries and procurement requirements with the relevant project teams.
- Work closely with the commercial team to monitor project costs, variations and subcontractor performance.
- Manage site logistics, deliveries and construction activities within a live educational environment.
- Attend progress meetings with senior management, consultants and client representatives.
- Identify programme risks and implement practical solutions to maintain progress.
- Oversee commissioning, snagging and final handover.
