You are an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong track record delivering electrical packages across major construction projects, looking to join a leading building services contractor working across commercial and residential developments in Dublin and the wider Leinster region.
This is a hybrid position (3 days office / 2 days from home), offering the opportunity to take ownership of key electrical engineering elements from design coordination through to delivery, commissioning, and handover. You will work closely with the Project Manager, site teams, subcontractors and client-side stakeholders to ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to programme.

Senior Electrical Engineer Skills:
- 5 years’ experience delivering Electrical works on large-scale construction projects (commercial / residential / healthcare / industrial preferred)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm, containment, earthing and bonding
- Proven experience coordinating electrical installation works with multiple subcontractors
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and how Electrical works interface with other trades
- Excellent ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Experience supporting procurement, technical submittals, material scheduling and long lead items
- Strong QA / inspection background including testing procedures and sign-off documentation
- Confident communicator with experience dealing with consultants, clients, and internal project teams
- Strong reporting skills including progress updates, labour tracking and short-term lookaheads
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Electrical Engineering qualification is preferred
- Experience working to Irish electrical standards and current regulations is highly desirable
- Manage the delivery of electrical scope across your assigned project(s) ensuring works are completed safely, to specification and on programme
- Coordinate installation teams and subcontractors to drive productivity and quality on site
- Work closely with the Project Manager to support planning, sequencing and short-term work programmes
- Review electrical drawings and specifications and raise technical queries where required
- Coordinate design updates with internal teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure buildability and compliance
- Oversee day-to-day site activities including containment, cable installation, distribution, and final fix works
- Ensure high standards of QA are maintained through inspections, ITPs and test documentation
- Support commissioning activities including completion of testing, witnessing and client sign-off
- Assist with procurement planning including materials tracking, delivery schedules and resolving supply issues
- Ensure accurate completion of project documentation including test certs, O&Ms, as-builts and handover packs
- Attend and contribute to project meetings including progress updates and coordination sessions
- Coordinate with other trades to ensure clashes are avoided and shared areas are delivered efficiently
- Identify potential programme risks early and support mitigation plans with the wider project team
- Maintain a proactive approach to safety, ensuring works are carried out in line with company standards and site procedures
