The Role – Site Manager
This is a key Site Manager position on a public realm project in North Dublin, involving streetscape improvements, utilities coordination, and urban infrastructure upgrades. You will take full responsibility for site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard of finish.
You will play a central role in coordinating subcontractors, managing daily site activity, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders in a live urban environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all on-site activities across the public realm project
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards and site procedures
• Drive programme delivery and manage short-term planning with subcontractors
• Coordinate multiple trades including civils, paving, utilities, and landscaping
• Maintain high quality standards across finishes and public-facing works
• Liaise with local authorities, residents, and stakeholders where required
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, and report to senior management
• Ensure all site documentation and reporting is up to date
About You
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on civils, infrastructure, or public realm projects
• Strong background in groundworks, utilities, or urban infrastructure delivery
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and site compliance
• Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme on busy city-centre projects
• Strong communication skills, particularly in stakeholder-facing environments
• Highly organised with a focus on quality and detail
• A proactive and solutions-driven approach to site challenges
