Quantity Surveyor Skills:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role, with a focus on electrical installations.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, cost management, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in cost management software such as CostX, Cubit, or Excel.
- Experience working with FIDIC, NEC, or similar contract frameworks is an advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-value project environment.
- EU passport or valid work permit for Germany is required.
As a Quantity Surveyor:
- Develop and manage project cost plans, ensuring alignment with budgets and contract requirements.
- Prepare and analyse BOQs, tender documents, and procurement strategies to secure competitive pricing.
- Oversee subcontractor and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with contract terms and project specifications.
- Monitor and track project costs, variations, and change orders, providing regular reports to the commercial and project teams.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities to optimize project efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
- Assist in progress valuations, cash flow forecasts, and final account settlements to maintain strong financial control.
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
