Greater Dublin (Head Office)



Are you a driven Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a dynamic role with Ireland’s most prominent residential developers? Would you enjoy working at head office level, supporting large-scale, design-led housing and apartment schemes across Leinster and the Greater Dublin Area?

This highly reputable Irish developer is responsible for some of the most significant and thoughtfully planned residential communities in the country. With a robust pipeline of projects and a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they are now looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial Team at head office in Dublin.

The Role – Project Quantity Surveyor:
As a key member of the Commercial team, you will work closely with the Senior QS, Commercial Manager, and site delivery teams to ensure the successful financial management of multiple projects. This role is predominantly office-based with regular site visits as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers in line with company procedures
  • Review and negotiate subcontractor agreements and commercial terms

  • Assist in tender analysis, cost planning, and benchmarking for upcoming developments

  • Monitor project budgets, prepare cost forecasts and conduct monthly cost reporting

  • Identify and manage project risks and value engineering opportunities

  • Support valuations, payment applications and ensure compliance with contract terms

  • Liaise closely with the design, development, and site teams to drive project efficiency

  • Ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance with financial governance protocols

  What You Need:
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

  • 3–6 years post-graduate experience, ideally with a main contractor, developer, or PQS

  • Strong commercial and contractual acumen

  • Experience working on residential developments or large-scale commercial projects

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost management software

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently
