An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy delivering large-scale, high-value projects across the Pharmaceutical, Medtech, Food, Industrial, and Commercial sectors based in Cork. This role is key to the successful delivery of M&E projects from concept through to handover.
You will be stepping into a senior-level position within a multidisciplinary team, offering leadership in design, coordination, and project execution. The position provides real scope to shape technical solutions and mentor junior staff, while working closely with project managers and fellow engineers.

The Package:
Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least to €80,000 plus package to include Hybrid working after 6 months.

Senior Electrical Engineer Skills:
- 7–10 years’ post-degree experience in electrical design within building services.
- Chartered Engineer or working toward chartership.
- Demonstrated team leadership and mentoring experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and regulations.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, organised approach to project delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Solid understanding of health & safety practices and project documentation processes.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer:
- Lead electrical design and coordination across building services projects.
- Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers.
- Deliver projects through all stages: feasibility, design, tender, construction, and handover.
- Ensure work complies with Building Regulations and internal Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015).
- Support the project management team with contract documentation and client coordination.
- Drive quality, safety, and technical excellence across all project phases.
