BMS Engineer Skills:  

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with BMS systems, including design, programming, and commissioning.
• Proficiency with major BMS platforms (e.g., Trend, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, or similar).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their integration with BMS platforms.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and other relevant software.
• Strong communication skills for effective client and team collaboration.
• Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel for site visits.

As a BMS Engineer:  

• Develop detailed designs and specifications for BMS systems tailored to project requirements.
• Configure and program BMS systems, including controllers, sensors, and user interfaces, to ensure seamless operation.
• Oversee or assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of BMS systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and perform maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Analyse system performance data to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and recommend upgrades or adjustments.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and deliver tailored solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including system designs, user manuals, and commissioning reports.
• Ensure all BMS systems adhere to relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Provide training to clients and end-users on system operation and functionality.

The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least to €75,000 plus package to include vehicle, bonus, pension and more.
