Electrical Package Manager Skills:
- Electrical engineering degree or relevant trade background with strong site experience.
- Proven experience in managing electrical packages on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installation processes, and industry standards.
- Experience in subcontractor management, driving performance, and ensuring quality.
- Solid understanding of H&S regulations and a proactive approach to site safety.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and construction management software.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience liaising with clients, consultants, and project teams.
As an Electrical Package Manager:
- Lead the electrical package from start to completion, ensuring all works align with project requirements and timelines.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring productivity, compliance, and smooth coordination.
- Oversee quality control, ensuring installations meet industry standards, design specifications, and client expectations.
- Ensure strict H&S compliance, carrying out risk assessments, implementing control measures, and supporting site safety initiatives.
- Work closely with the construction and MEP teams to align electrical works with overall project delivery.
- Drive progress tracking and reporting, providing clear updates on schedule, risks, and solutions.
- Manage technical queries, RFIs, and coordination issues, liaising with consultants, engineers, and clients.
- Support procurement, ensuring materials and equipment are available as needed, avoiding delays.
- Take part in commissioning and handover, ensuring systems are fully tested, certified, and ready for operation.
- Proactively identify risks and implement solutions, maintaining efficiency and high-quality project outcomes.
- Ensure all documentation, reports, and progress logs are maintained accurately.
