HVAC Project Manager Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 5 years of project management experience in HVAC systems or building services.
- Strong understanding of HVAC system design, installation, and commissioning processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and HVAC design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations in Ireland.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.
- Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel for site visits.
As a HVAC Project Manager Skills:
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, from initial client consultation and design through to commissioning and handover.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met while building long-term relationships.
- Manage internal and external teams, including engineers, installers, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery without compromising quality.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules to meet critical deadlines.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant building regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Monitor project progress and quality through site inspections, resolving any issues promptly.
- Provide regular updates on project performance, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
