Electrical Supervisor Skills:
- Electrical trade qualification or relevant technical certification.
- Proven experience supervising electrical works on large construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation techniques, and industry standards.
- Leadership skills, with experience managing teams and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of H&S regulations, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on-site issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and site documentation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate between teams and stakeholders.
As an Electrical Supervisor:
- Supervise electrical installations to ensure they meet project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate electrical teams and subcontractors, ensuring smooth operations on-site.
- Oversee progress, productivity, and compliance, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct toolbox talks, site briefings, and safety inspections to maintain a strong safety culture.
- Work closely with the Electrical Package Manager and site leadership team to align electrical activities with project timelines.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, identifying solutions to keep the project moving forward.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, performing risk assessments and implementing best practices.
- Assist in material management and procurement, making sure all necessary equipment is available.
- Document progress reports and provide updates to senior management.
- Take part in testing, commissioning, and handover to ensure all systems are functioning correctly before project completion.
