Senior Project Electrical Engineer Skills:  

• Must be based in Ireland.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical building services design, ideally across industrial, high-tech, commercial, or healthcare projects.
• Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering (Chartered status is an advantage but not essential).
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles and engineering techniques.
• Deep knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS, and EN Standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and Microsoft Office (Revit experience is a plus).
• Ability to lead projects confidently from initial design through to final completion.
• Strong communication skills—comfortable liaising with clients, architects, and project managers.
• Experience in specifying and designing Electrical Building Services systems across various projects.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

As a Senior Project Electrical Engineer:  

• Lead electrical services design for multiple projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and specify electrical systems across a range of sectors.
• Produce detailed schematics, specifications, and reports to support project delivery.
• Drive design standards and ensure continuous improvement within the team.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and development opportunities.
• Prepare fully detailed tender packages, ensuring clarity and precision in design documentation.
• Monitor installation quality on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Produce budgets and technical reports, ensuring cost-effective and efficient design solutions.
• Confidently use AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and other design tools to deliver high-quality designs.
• Take full ownership of projects, ensuring smooth execution with minimal input from management.

The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least to €80,000 plus package.
