Senior Project Electrical Engineer Skills:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Chartered status is beneficial but not essential).
- 10 years of experience in electrical building services design, particularly within data centre projects.
- Strong knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS, and EN Standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and Microsoft Office (Revit experience is an advantage).
- A proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring technical quality and efficiency.
- Confident in liaising with clients, architects, and project managers, effectively communicating technical solutions.
- A track record of delivering high-quality electrical designs across various projects.
- Ability to mentor and support junior engineers, developing technical expertise within the team.
As a Senior Project Electrical Engineer:
- Lead electrical services design for a range of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Develop detailed schematics, specifications, and reports, maintaining technical accuracy.
- Oversee project design from concept through to installation, ensuring smooth execution.
- Conduct quality reviews and technical checks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage tender processes, including preparation of detailed reports and analysis.
- Work closely with clients and design teams to develop project scope and requirements.
- Attend site visits to monitor installation quality and resolve technical issues.
- Take a proactive approach to problem-solving and project coordination, ensuring successful delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering technical development within the team.
- Confidently manage projects with minimal input from management, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making skills.
